PARTICIPANT INQUIRY
Approximately 30% of all homes in our service area are single-parent homes. There are hundreds of children who need an adult to volunteer to become a friend and mentor.
Little's

  • A child, (between the ages of 6 and 15), is referred to the BB/BS agency by a parent, socail service agency, court, school system, friend, etc.... or expresses a self interest in having a Big Brother or Big Sister.
  • The child and his/her parent or guardian complete an application and screening process.
  • Upon completion of this process and acceptance as a "Little", the child is matched with a qualified adult volunteer.
  • Two Programs are available for children. School-Based and Community-Based Programs are available for at-risk children.
